The Butte Rescue Mission Center of Hope is Officially Open
After years of planning, fundraising, and hard work, our Capital Campaign Building project has finally crossed the finish line. We are now serving the public from this incredible new space. This milestone would not have been possible without the significant role you played in bringing this vision to life.
50 Years of Impact
The Butte Rescue Mission Center of Hope officially opened in March of 2026. This achievement is even more meaningful as we celebrate 50 years of the Butte Rescue Mission.
Since 1976, we have been dedicated to serving our community, and the Center of Hope represents the beginning of our next great season.
The Center of Hope brings the Butte Rescue Mission into a new era of service. We are better equipped than ever to support those in need, and we can’t wait to show you the full impact of your generosity.
Meeting the Needs of Our Growing Community
The Center of Hope serves as the cornerstone of our efforts to address the increasing demand for services in our community. This high-capacity building is designed with several key improvements in mind:
Cold Weather Overflow Space
During the winter months, the Center of Hope provides cold weather overflow, offering shelter and warmth for individuals who would otherwise be left out in the elements.
Enhanced Healthcare Services
With private rooms dedicated to Free Healthcare, our offerings include much-needed mental health services, addressing the critical health needs of those without access to consistent care.
Expanded Dining Hall
1,300 square feet of dining space ensuring that more individuals and families can receive warm, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Family Shelter Expansion
Because of this facility, we have expanded the capacity in the women's and family shelter, to serve families in need.
Place for Education & Growth
The dining hall also serves as a multi-purpose space for educational groups, support meetings, and community gatherings, helping to create a space for healing, learning, and connection.

The Center of Hope is more than just a building. It stands as a commitment to meeting the needs of those who need it most. As the demand for our services continues to rise, the Center allows us to better serve our community by providing not only food and shelter, but also healthcare, mental health services, and a safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
